TROPICAL STEEL

John Smith (AKA John Steel/Tropical Steel) is an outstanding steel drum player, vocalist, entertainer, recording artist & record producer.  Rooted in Trinidad, his musicians incorporate a variety of music in their performances – traditional steel drum music of the Islands plus jazz, easy-listening, pop, reggae, soca – all with a sweet Island flavor. 

Performances have included major resort hotels, theme parks, restaurant chains, and concert opening act.  His musicians can often be seen performing at Universal's Bob Marley's or at Bahama Breeze Restarants throughout the Southeast.  Enhanced by studio recorded tracks and live musicians, Tropical Steel performs live as a Solo, Duo,  Trio or Quartet to accommodate a variety of needs.
