LIBERTY FIFE AND DRUMS
LIBERTY FIFE AND DRUMS is a group that performs the traditional music and wears the colonial garb from the era of our country's struggle for independence. This group instills a patriotic sense from the beginning strains of "Yankee Doodle" to the final notes of the "World Turned Upside Down" as played during the British surrender at Yorktown. The "rolling thunder" of the authentic rope tension drums and the shrill of the "fifes" provide a stirring and memorable experience for any and all audiences. The LIBERTY FIFES AND DRUMS consists of 5 musicians (3 Fifers and 2 Drummers), 1 Drum Major and 1 Flag Carrier. The entire group can be "mustered" for an engagement or broken down into smaller entities, such as the "Spirit of '76'" trio. |
